Namuna College
Established 2002
It is a Nepali success story, as
Mrs Gyani Shova Tuladhar or "Namuna Lady"
as she is called by friends developed from an above
average tailor owning a shop and imitating international
designs to a nowadays leading institute in the fashion
scene. Namuna college of fashion technology started
out of this development and is clearly a milestone in
the fashion scenario of this country with teachers not
only from Nepal which studied in India's known fashion
design schools but also from Europe.
The college is affiliated to TU and offers bachelor
degrees in fashion design.
The persons who are seeking job and have already 10
+2 or certificate level degree in any stream and are
eager to explore their career in the world of glamour
are invited to attend the college classes.
Namuna college targets to provide highly skilled graduates
in the field of fashion technology making them eligible
to join Master Degree and make them able to run their
own business. In addition the vision is to bring the
country into the world of fashion.

Art Gallery:
Established in 1985
This gallery entertains a private college for future
artists since 15 years and a center where you can follow
your hobby painting under the guidance of known teachers.
While its existence goes back quite a few years you
find it in Kamaladi, nearby Royal Academy, only since
2001.
Its hobby art classes for those who are interested in
this faculty are for 3months, 6 months and 9 months.
For taking your hobby classes you have to pay something
but it is not so expensive The hobby classes are also
attractive for our goldenagers.
If you are a parent there are also classes for children
who are having vacation.
Traditional Thanka Painting
School
Situated in Tripurasundari (Tulachhen) the center of
the old town of Bhaktapur. You can reach it easily by
bus. It is regular open.
The school teaches the Thanka Painting for beginners
and once they are ready to produce Thankas they are
selling the products as well. Most of the Thankas are
beautiful and some are excitingly impressive.
